I need an old priest and a young priest...

I know, I KNOW. I haven't written anything of any substance or import on this blog for days.

It's the effing writer's block.

I don't know where it came from or how long it intends to stay, but DAMN GINA, we hates it.

So the purpose of this post is hopefully to exorcise the demon. Maybe just through the simple act of writing "I have writer's block" something will kick back into gear and I'll find my words again.

The hi-larious irony is that right now at work I'm helping to produce a video on--get this--INSPIRATION. Where you find it, how you keep it, what to do when it eludes you...and here I am, completely uninspired. A total fraud. One bad blog mommy.

So this is me openly embracing my crippling ennui and debilitating writer's block. And not just embracing it, but holding it tight to me in a creepy-uncle-hugging-for-too-long kind of way. I am bear hugging the shit out of it. Right about now it's worrying that its innards are going to come spilling out of its every orifice in a minute if I don't let up. BUT I WON'T. Oh no.

I want my words back.

I really do hope, for the innards sake of your writers block, that you do get over it quickly. It doesn't sound pretty.
